Analyst, Asset Management and Acquisitions

Summary

Our client is seeking an Analyst to join the Acquisitions and Asset Management team.

Roles & responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Acquisitions:
    • Create complex financial models to evaluate potential retail
    • Research, underwrite, and present target acquisitions with a thoughtful investment
    • Maintain the pipeline of target
    • Perform ad-hoc analysis, as part of the underwriting process
  • Asset Management8 Operations:
    • Analyze historical and projected operating performance on a quarterly and annual
    • Perform ad-hoc analysis on individual assets, evaluating various performance scenarios and the impact on the business plan.
    • Communicate analytical findings directly to Senior Management
    • Participate in Asset Management Committee meetings, where detailed understanding of deal terms and specific investment assumptions will be required.
    • Coordination of Asset Management activities including preparing investment proposals and Investment Committee submissions
    • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance financial analysis methodologies and report processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Required:

Experience & Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 1-2 years of financial modeling preferred; compensation commensurate with experience
  • Advanced Excel skills, including cash flow analysis and investment portfolio modeling
  • A basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP)
  • Experience with ARGUS preferred

Additional Skills & Knowledge

  • Highly proficient in Excel; Power Point experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Real Estate industry and key performance indicators preferred
